Who is Annie Jacquet Bentley?


Annie Jacquet Bentley has been a restaurant consultant and cooking instructor in the United States since 1987. Born in France, she divides her time between France and the United States.

In 1998, she founded the prestigious L'Ecole des Chefs, an internship program where world-renowned chefs, for the first time ever, opened the doors of their kitchens to amateurs and professionals alike. Annie received national and international attention by placing her students in the restaurants of famous chefs such as Alain Passard, Thomas Keller, Michel Troisgros, Daniel Boulud, Guy Savoy and Jean Georges Vongerichten.

She has often been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, Food & Wine, Saveur Magazine, Bon Appetit, Forbes, and numerous other publications. She has also been interviewed by many radio and TV networks, including CNN, Bloomberg, AAA Travel, and others located in Japan, Europe, and Australia.

Annie is trained in Reiki and professionally-qualified in the therapeutic uses of Essential Oils. She is also a US-trained and certified Massage Therapist.
